Although I'm not that naive and I'm sure somewhere along the line you are paying for it, but it really feels good to get stuff that you maybe wouldn't have bought for yourself.
Apart from all the vouches and saving you get from Babies'r'us you get a really beautiful blue bag filled with all the baby goodies you might need. Honestly, I doubt I'd use the bag as a baby bag, but I'm sure it will come in handy somewhere.
Now obviously everything is branded with Discovery Vitality, but hey, you can't really complain.
Here's what I got and how I've used the items thus far
These little squares of goodness are really awesome, I have a friend whose daughter loves her taglet and rubs the ribbon tags on her nose for comfort. Rafael doesn't really like his taglet, although it does come in handy to cover his eyes when its naptime. | Lets start from the bottom. A beautiful white branded blanket, which is great for these warmer months as its not too heavy for baby. A pack of newborn size 0 huggies nappies. There were the only nappies that fit Rafael in the first few months, so they definately come in handy. Nuk dummy - Rafael doesnt like Nuk, but it was good to have in case. Johnsons baby oil and jelly |
I've noticed these sun shades everywhere! They are great when you have baby in their car seat and you obviously wouldn't want the sun to beat down on them. The bag comes with 2 sun shades with cute images and obviously the Discovery brand ;) Honestly, after having mine up on my car windows for a few months, I have decided to take them down. Although they have cute, bright images for baby to look at, I feel they make it very difficult to see out the window. Maybe something Discovery should think of changing. The bag also contains this Mother of a book for all your pregnancy, birth and baby info. Its really thick but the contents is really informative and easy to read. Honestly I haven't looked at mine in a while, but who has time to read when you're looking after a newborn lol so I's suggest, do your reading before baby arrives. |
